This show started strong with a solid “Don’t Want You No More/Not My Cross To Bear” opener, and a great “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More” with some mesmerizing slide work from Derek, but the best was yet to come. As a violent thunderstorm burst over the venue, the Allman Brothers kicked into “The Sky Is Crying,” and it was one of those magical moments we all go to shows for. They stayed in the zone for the rest of the show, culminating in a “Mountain Jam” where the band seems to be jamming with Mother Nature herself!
