A West's Best El Grande selection!

The band continued to mix things up for this show, playing 2 more songs that hadn't been played yet on this tour.  "Who To Believe" featured a haunting solo from Derek, while "Preachin' Blues" was an intimate duet with just Warren and Derek on stage.

The band also played both "I Ain't Superstitious" and "It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry" at this show, making it a good show for seekers of rare and exotic songs.  Both of these tunes have come a long way and sound right at home in the ABB repertoire!

Of course, this show also featured great versions of many Allman Brothers classics.  The opening trio of "Hot'Lanta," "Statesboro Blues" and "Ain't Wastin' Time No More" is pure old-school ABB at their best!  Gregg really sings his heart on at this show.  "Black Hearted Woman" rocks and roars, "Soulshine" features some great interplay between Derek and Warren, and this version of "Liz Reed" is powerful and magical.
