From the powerful "Les Brers" opener, the band was hittin’ the note this night. ABB drummer Jaimoe lives in Connecticut, and the band always gets great support there. "Can’t Lose What You Never Had" appears for only the third time this summer, and the equally rare ".44 Blues" has a great, swampy groove to it. "Instrumental Illness" gets a good workout, and check out the extended version of "Black Hearted Woman." The double encore of "Melissa" and "Whipping Post" really puts this show over the top!
