O Canada! With a seating capacity of less than 2000, this was the smallest venue the band played all year. The band responded with two great shows full of the subtlety and nuance that a smaller hall allows. The “Hotlanta” opener growls ominously, “Who’s Been Talking” moves through a wide range of dynamics before gracefully fading to silence, and Derek’s solo on “High Cost of Low Living” dances with the angels. The new, extended arrangement of “Done Somebody Wrong” never sounded better, and this is a great, expansive version of “Elizabeth Reed.”
