The debut album from one of our new favorite bands at Hittin' The Note is full of raunchy, roadhouse-tested blues rock that is sure to satisfy! From the ripping title song, with its stinging guitar leads, to the perfect hook of "Light Cigarette" and the wicked groove of "Last 4 Ozs." there isn't a bad track to be found on this disc. Other highlights include the swaggering "Belt Buckle" and the brooding, subdued "Southern Saying Goes." This is good stuff!
We're not the only ones who feel this way. Leroy Justice has shared stages with members of Gov't Mule, The Black Crowes, The Levon Helm Band, and many others. And they have been getting rave reviews from critics. Check out this blurb from Earvolution....
"Jason Gallagher’s confident vocals, Sloan Marshall’s timeless organ riffs and Brendan Cavanaugh’s Skydog-quality slide guitar burrow into the recesses of the rock and roll soul . . . . It’s a glorious revelation to know that bands still make this type of music."
Check it out, you won't be sorry!
