It was another amazing night with this all-star band and their musical friends! They started it off with a hot, hot version of Jessica and it just got hotter as the night went on. Luther Dickenson always brings an extra spark to the stage when he sits in with the Brothers and tonight he lit it up with one of the best versions of Gilded Splinters we have heard in a long time. Warren acknowleged the afternoon rain storm with The Sky Is Crying and then the band went into a wicked version of Hot'Lanta with Reggie Pittmen on trumpet followed by the moody/dreamy/jazzy version of Watchtower which closed out with the final flourish of Hot'Lanta. Jimmy Hall followed up his Beacon guest performances by bringing some of his Mobile Mojo to the Wanee stage and the crowd was treated to an outstanding version of You Don't Love Me with Junior Mack on guitar and vocals. The encore had Greg singing his heart out on the stripped down, emotional Neil Young song, The Needle and the Damage Done. The grand finale was Southbound with multiple guest rockin' this one out of the park! Special thanks to Kofi Burbridge and Bruce Katz for bringing their tremendous talents to the stage! ENCORE: Needle and the Damage Done (Gregg, Warren & Derek only) *Bruce Katz played stage left keys for the whole show except Mountain Jam
