Security Code
The Security Code adds yet another level of security to your transactions with us. Online transactions can be higher risk because we can not physically see the card and ask for a signature. This code does not reveal any extra information to us about you or your company. It simply helps protect you and us from fraudulent abuse of your card by others. The 3-digit Security Code feature on the back of Visa and MasterCard and the 4-digit code found on the front of American Express helps us ensure your credit card transactions with hittinthenote.com are more secure and more private than ever before.
For Visa/Mastercard:
All Visa and MasterCard cards have a 20 digit code in the signature panel on the back of the card. The last three digits of this code are the Security Code.
For American Express:
American Express has a 4 digit Security Code printed on the front just above and to the right of the embossed credit card number.
Note:
If you do not have a verification number, try another card or enter the number 000. The card holding bank will indicate if the code exists on the card. Failure to enter the code correctly is sufficient reason to not process your order.
