After a great warm-up in Canada, the first US show of the summer was an inspirational evening of music by the best live band in the land.  The potent “Les Brers” opener was a spectacular way to start, and the 1-2 punch of “Black Hearted Woman” and “Jessica” provided a very strong finish with Oteil pushing the band to soar even higher!  In between, Warren sang lead on a unique medley of Van Morrison and Howlin’ Wolf that paired Van’s “And It Stoned Me” with the Wolf’s “Who’s Been Talkin’.”  This show also features strong versions of “Walk on Gilded Splinters” and “Desdemona,” plus a unique outro jam on “Maydell.”  Good stuff!
