Flynn is a "Reprentant Troubadour" as one song title says, a man with a guitar singing his songs.  Many of the songs are about lost love and heartbreak.  Even if he isn't reinventing the wheel, the clever songwriting and heartfelt delivery behind these tunes raise Flynn above the ordinary.

Well Worn Road also has an appealing diversity that makes it tough to categorize.  Some tunes feature southern rock guitars, others are country oriented, several songs are reminiscent of early Dylan and even hints of Jimmy Buffet come into play.  The result is a pleasingly varied, cohesive disc that bucks the monochrome tone that marks many singer-songwriter releases.  Fans of Tommy and Talton and Cowboy are sure to enjoy the easygoing vibe and soulful nature of this music.
