Despite cold, rainy weather the band delivered a great show at Red Rocks for their final concert of the year. The opening combo of "Don’t Want You No More/It’s Not My Cross To Bear" is potent and fiery, and always a great way to start a show. "Who’s Been Talking" has a transcendent solo from Derek, and "Midnight Rider" has Gregg’s son Devon singing family harmony. "Hot ’Lanta" and "Gilded Splinters" is a powerful 1-2 combo that packs a big punch, and this is one of Derek’s best "Dreams" solos, sounding as if he is channeling the natural harmonics of Red Rocks to create incredible feedback. "Revival" and "Anyday" are joyful and powerful, and so much more. One of the best shows of the year!
