March Madness, Allman Brothers style, is less than a month away! The band's annual stand at the Beacon Theatre in New York City will run from March 22nd to April 7th. Once again, the Big House Foundation is proud to offer the "Best Seats in the House" ticket auction. You can bid on two seats in the front row center by going to thebighousemuseum.org, and clicking on the Auction icon. The BHF also has several pairs of premium tickets available for every show, including the always-coveted front-row loge seats. To find out more information about purchasing these tickets, please call E.J. Devokaitis at 706-418-6270, or e-mail him at [email protected]. Also, as many of you know, on Tuesday, March 20th, some of our dear friends and Trustees of the BHF are helping to sponsor a special preview performance by the ABB, and a very limited number of tickets are available through E.J. at the Foundation ticket office. Call now before they are gone!

On Saturday, March 31, from 2-7 PM, on the 2nd floor of the Hotel Beacon in New York City, HTN will be partnering with Scott Sachs and Big Rich Peneski to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society in honor of Tyler Seaman, Lefty Collins' mom, Patricia Collins, and to help raise funds for HTN's Publisher, Bill Ector, who recently underwent emergency surgery. Similar to last year, Devon Allman and Pedro Arevalo will be dropping in to provide some musical entertainment, along with the pride of Chicago and one of our best friends, Lefty Collins. After these fine musicians perform we will have the annual extended family jam for the rest of the afternoon and early evening. Skydog author Randy Poe is on board to sign his remarkable biography of Duane Allman and we have invited Susan Tedeschi and members of the Allman Brothers Band as well - you just never know who might show up! We will be asking for a $20.00 donation at the door for this worthy cause. Free beer, wine and hors d'oeurves will be served and there will be a number of unique silent auction items to choose from along with a free event T-shirt. HTN will also be joining the Hospitality Sweeties on Friday afternoon, March 30th at the same location for a similar fund raising party. Both gatherings should be a great time for a great cause, and we hope to see all you Beaconeers there! If you can't make it, please consider donating to the Bill Ector Medical Fund by clicking on this link: https://hittinthenote.com/cart/c-108-bill-ector-medical-fund.aspx
