Hello brothers and sisters! We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get right to itů
First of all, we are very pleased to announce that we have received 25 of the 31 Instant Live shows recorded in 2006. We expect to have the remaining 6 shows within the next few weeks, which means that we will be shipping the 2006 Summer Sets sometime in February. We do currently have all the necessary Instant Lives shows for both the West's Best and the El Grande packages. These two collections represent the finest Allman Brothers Band performances from 2006, according to Tour Mystic and resident HTN music guru Kirk West. For those of you who pre-ordered these sets, we appreciate your patience, and your order is on the way. For those of you who have been waiting, get 'em now while they're hot and not out of stock! PLEASE NOTE: if you are interested in ordering the 2006 Summer Set it is important that you do so NOW so that we know how many customized sets to make. The price for this set will be going up soon as it will cost more to go back and remake these customized sets later on.

Hittin' the Note will be holding our annual Beacon Hospitality Party on Saturday afternoon, March 31st in the Hotel Beacon! If you went to last year's event, you got a chance to meet and greet Derek and Susan Trucks and listen to Devon Allman, Lefty Collins and Pedro Arevalo play in an intimate, family atmosphere. Many thanks to Scotty and the West Coast crew for partnering with us this year to help make it even bigger and better this time around. We will be asking for donations at the door to support the efforts of the American Cancer Society and for the Bill Ector Hospital Fund. Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Wanee festival, and we hope to see all of you there! Now in it's third year, Wanee has become the ultimate celebration of the Allman Brothers Band extended family. This year the lineup is as strong as ever, with plenty of family bands like the ABB, Gov't Mule, the Derek Trucks Band, Oteil and the Peacemakers, Scrapomatic, and Vaylor Trucks and his band Bonobos Convergence. As if that wasn't enough, these mainstays are joined this time by pedal steel virtuoso Robert Randolph, bluegrass superstars Nickel Creek, hard rockers Rose Hill Drive, New Orleans's legendary Radiators, and so much more! Susan and Derek Trucks made musical history with their groundbreaking husband/wife tour this past December and ended the year with an incredible performance at the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia on New Year's Eve. Many of you have called our office to see if you could pick up some of their cool tour merch, and we now have in stock long sleeve T's in both men's and women's sizes.
