Hittin' the Note knows our readers are familiar with Jaimoe as one part of the Allman Brothers Band triple-headed percussion army, but when he plays with his Jasssz Band, it's a whole different ballgame.
In this setting, backed by a stellar group of musicians, Jaimoe gets to show the swinging jazz chops that have always been a big part of his musical signature. With Junior Mack on guitar/vocals, Jay Collins on sax/flute/vocals, Dave Stoltz on bass, Frank Kozyra and Paul Liberman on tenor, alto and soprano sax and Mathias Schuber on keys, we know you will enjoy the provocative sounds of this "miniature big band."
